Healthy Habits Week: Building Strong Bodies and Happy Minds

Growing Healthy, Growing Happy

Good habits built in childhood last a lifetime. Keeping this in mind, St. Lords International School organized a special Healthy Habits Week to teach children the importance of nutrition, hygiene, and physical fitness in fun and engaging ways.

The week was packed with interactive sessions, games, and demonstrations — all designed especially for young learners.

Smart Eating, Smart Living

Children were encouraged to bring colorful and nutritious lunchboxes filled with fruits, vegetables, and homemade meals. Teachers explained the benefits of healthy food using stories and visuals that made learning easy and relatable.

Students proudly shared their healthy snacks, inspiring one another to make better food choices.

Fitness and Fun Together

Morning yoga sessions, stretching exercises, and outdoor sports added energy to the day. Running races, obstacle courses, and group games kept children active and enthusiastic.

They learned that staying fit can be both fun and exciting.

Cleanliness is Key

Teachers also demonstrated proper handwashing, dental care, and personal hygiene practices. Through songs and role-play activities, children understood the importance of staying clean and safe.

A Step Toward a Better Lifestyle

By the end of the week, students had developed small yet meaningful habits that would benefit them for years to come. Healthy Habits Week was a gentle reminder that strong bodies create strong minds.
